Mansour Sohrabi obtained his Ph.D. in Agroecology from the University of Science and Technology in Tehran in 2009. He earned his Master’s degree from Tarbiat Modares University in Tehran in 2000. He taught ecology and natural resources from 2000 to 2012. In 2016, he participated in a research project at the University of Kiel, Germany. Since 2018, he has been working as an environmental expert with various media outlets. He has authored dozens of scientific research articles in his specialized field.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Iran faces widespread environmental challenges such as dwindling water resources, land subsidence, deforestation, soil erosion, and various forms of pollution. To address these crises, sustainable resource management, a transition to renewable energy, and the implementation of environmental policies within the framework of good governance are essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Environmental democracy, which emphasizes the participation of all individuals affected by environmental decisions, can ensure environmental justice and contribute to sustainable development. Decentralization and strengthening local governments also play a key role in improving the quality of public services, reducing corruption, and accelerating the implementation of renewable energy projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a successful transition to renewable energy, Iran requires supportive policies, investment in new technologies, public awareness, and international cooperation.
