Narges founded grassroots movements advocating for pregnancy rights, childbirth, and sexual health, and offered free training programs for midwives and the public. She also pioneered sexual health education in Iranian schools. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she established an online task force to ensure access to healthcare for women and families, even in remote areas. Women\u2019s rights and health have been systematically suppressed by the Islamic Republic of Iran, using religion, tradition, and even the law as tools of control. Despite sporadic and impactful progress in areas such as family planning policies\u2014supported financially and administratively by international organizations like the United Nations, the World Health Organization (WHO), and UNICEF\u2014Iran has experienced severe setbacks in all healthcare and women’s health infrastructure over the past eight years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Since the start of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement, the suppression of women has intensified into a targeted and comprehensive effort, employing both religious and legal mechanisms.
