Dr. Reza Moridi<\/strong> is a graduate of the University of Tehran and Brunel University London in the field of Physics. Due to his fundamental research in Physics and Engineering, he has been accepted as a senior member of the Institute of Physics of the UK, the Institute of Engineering and Technology of the UK, the American Association of Physicists in Medicine, and the Canadian Nuclear Society.
Following the 1979 Revolution and after being dismissed from his university faculty position during the purge of universities, he left Iran and eventually settled in Canada. He served for 17 years at the Atomic Energy Canada\u2019s Radiation Protection Institute, where his last position was Senior Scientist and Deputy Director of the institute<\/strong>.
Following that, Dr. Reza Moridi was elected to the Ontario Legislature for 11 years (three terms) and served as the Minister of Advanced Education, Minister of Research and Innovation, and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Energy.<\/strong>
Dr. Reza Moridi was honored with two medals for the 60th and 70th anniversaries of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, the late Queen of Canada. Throughout the protests of the Iranian people against human rights violations, he has always stood with his compatriots and continues to strive for the establishment of a democratic government in Iran.”<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The establishment of democracy in Iran will not be possible without addressing the issue of ethnic groups and restoring the rights of non-Persian ethnicities.
