Social media platforms and online forums reveal how Iranians navigate the complex interplay between politics, sports, and digital technology. Netnography allows researchers to investigate these virtual sites&#8217; shifting narratives, community dynamics, and activist methods during major sporting events (Jokipalo &amp; Khudayarov, 2021). Further, according to Jokipalo and Khudayarov, 2021, Netnography illustrated how sports-related online discussions, user-generated content (including social media posts, forum threads, blog entries, and hashtag campaigns), and emerging themes on digital platforms affect Iranian politics and collective action.
