رامین لاکانی از شرکای یک شرکت مشاوره‌ای در بخش انرژی است و دارای ۳۵ سال تجربه در پروژه‌های بالادستی (Upstream)، میان‌دستی (Midstream) و پایین‌دستی (Downstream) صنعت نفت و گاز می‌باشد. وی در حال حاضر در لندن مستقر است و پیش‌تر برای شرکت‌های ExxonMobil، Premier Oil، BG Group، Shell، Schlumberger، PetroCanada، Baker Hughes، Halliburton و HARPS Marine کار کرده است.

رامین به‌طور نزدیک با مؤسسات مالی و شرکت‌های سرمایه‌گذاری خصوصی همکاری کرده است تا عرضه و تقاضای جهانی نفت خام و فرآورده‌های نفتی را تحلیل کند. در سال‌های اخیر، تمرکز وی بر چالش‌های گذار انرژی (Energy Transition) در صنعت نفت و گاز بوده است.

وی  مهندس شیمی‌ با پروانه رسمی‌ (Chartered Chemical Engineer – IChemE) است و دارای مدرک کارشناسی مهندسی شیمی از University College London، کارشناسی ارشد مهندسی نفت از Imperial College London، و مدرک رهبری اجرایی (Executive Leadership) از Texas A&M Mays Business School می‌باشد.

Ramin Lakani is a Partner in a consulting firm in the energy sector with 35 years experience in the upstream, midstream and downstream projects. He is currently based in London and  has previously worked for ExxonMobil, Premier Oil, BG Group, Shell, Schlumberger, PetroCanada, Baker Hughes, Halliburton & HARPS Marine. Ramin has worked closely with financial institutions and private equity firms to analyse supply/demand of crude oil and petroleum products globally. In recent years, Ramin has focused his efforts on the Energy Transition challenges faced by the oil & gas industry. A Chartered Chemical Engineer (IChemE), he holds a B.Eng. degree in Chemical Engineering from University College London, an M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College London and an Executive Leadership degree from Texas A&M Mays Business School.

Ramin a collaboré étroitement avec des institutions financières et des fonds de capital-investissement pour analyser l’offre et la demande de pétrole brut et de produits pétroliers à l’échelle mondiale. Ces dernières années, il a concentré ses efforts sur les défis de la transition énergétique auxquels l’industrie du pétrole et du gaz est confrontée.

Ingénieur chimiste certifié (IChemE), il est titulaire d’un diplôme en ingénierie chimique de l’University College London, d’un master en ingénierie pétrolière de l’Imperial College London et d’un diplôme en leadership exécutif de la Mays Business School de Texas A&M.
