Professor. Ameli is a member of the French Committee on Private International Law and a founding member of the International Association of Business Lawyers. In addition to his extensive private practice, Professor. Ameli has been a Professor of the Sorbonne Law School and other reputable institutions for 25 years, teaching civil law, international contracts, international trade law and international commercial arbitration in the Middle East.

Dr Ameli is the Vice Dean of the Sorbonne Law School.
