نازنین انصاری ناشر و مدیر مسئول دو رسانه مستقل است که بر ایران تمرکز دارند: کیهان لندن و کیهان لایف

کیهان-لندن (فارسی [https://kayhan.london/fa/]) و نشریه خواهر آن، کیهان-لایف (انگلیسی [https://kayhanlife.com])، رسانه‌هایی مستقر در لندن هستند که بر ایران و حضور آن در صحنه بین‌المللی تمرکز دارند.

تاریخچه این نشریه به اوایل دهه 1940 در ایران باز می‌گردد. دارایی‌های آن پس از انقلاب 1979 مصادره و به دفتر ولی‌فقیه جمهوری اسلامی انتقال یافت. ناشر اصلی آن، این روزنامه را در اوایل دهه 1980 در لندن دوباره راه‌اندازی کرد. کیهان-لندن به عنوان قدیمی‌ترین خانه فکری برای دیاسپورای ایرانی که آرزو دارد ایران سکولار و دموکراتیک باشد، شناخته می‌شود

. نازنین همچنین بنیان‌گذار و عضو هیئت‌امنای بنیاد آموزشی پرشیا است که آموزش و یادگیری برای ایرانیان خارج از ایران را ترویج می‌کند. آموزش شخصی‌سازی شده پرشیا در زمینه آموزش شخصیت و شهروندی نخستین پروژه آموزشی از این نوع بود که برای بهره‌مندی کودکان ایرانی-بریتانیایی پرورش یافته در بریتانیا طراحی شد. در ژوئن 2023، پرشیا نخستین جشنواره فیلم‌های کوتاه ساخته شده توسط زنان ایرانی را برگزار کرد که ابعاد مختلف زندگی در ایران امروزی را کاوش می‌کرد. در سال 2022، این بنیاد بورسیه عبدالرضا انصاری را راه‌اندازی کرد که برای حمایت از دانشجویان در زمینه‌های خدمات عمومی و حقوق بشر طراحی شده است. در سال 2017، پرشیا بیش از 300 نفر از برجسته‌ترین زنان ایرانی در حوزه‌های رسانه، مالی، سیاست، هنر و رفاه را به نخستین کنفرانس رهبری زنان ایرانی در لندن و بنیاد زنان ایرانی-آمریکایی دعوت کرد. در همان سال، این بنیاد بورسیه میرزاخانی برای زنان را راه‌اندازی کرد تا از تحصیل زنان ایرانی‌تبار در مقطع کارشناسی ارشد یا سال آخر دکتری در رشته‌های STEM (علم، فناوری، مهندسی و ریاضیات) حمایت کند.

از سال 2018، نازنین با مؤسسه جرج‌تاون برای زنان در صلح و امنیت همکاری کرده است. این مؤسسه پیشگامان را گرد هم آورد و به بازتاب نقش زنان در جنبش‌های اعتراضی در نوامبر 2022 پرداخت. در سال 2021،  GIWPS دو کنفرانس در مورد زنان در ایران برگزار کرد

در سال 2019،  GWIPS سنت طولانی رهبری زنان ایرانی و همچنین تنوع شیوه‌های تعهد زنان در داخل ایران و در دیاسپورا به حقوق زنان در طول نسل‌ها را جشن گرفت.

نازنین فعالیت حرفه‌ای خود را در روزنامه‌نگاری در اوایل دهه 1980 در رادیو ABC نیوز در واشنگتن دی.سی. آغاز کرد و همچنین به عنوان نویسنده در برنامه «دیت لاین لندن» بی‌بی‌سی جهانی همکاری داشت. او تولیدکننده اجرایی و مجری برنامه خبری «این هفته» در تلویزیون منوتو بود. همچنین به عنوان خبرنگار ویژه لندن برای صدای آمریکا فعالیت می‌کرد. نازنین عضو هیئت‌امنا و رئیس مؤسسه مطبوعات خارجی لندن [https://www.fpalondon.org]، اولین و قدیمی‌ترین انجمن خبرنگاران خارجی در جهان است که در سال 1888 تأسیس شده است.

او در سال 2002 به کمیته مدیریتی این انجمن انتخاب شد. او به عنوان رئیس، نائب رئیس و رئیس جوایز رسانه‌ای FPA خدمت کرده است. از نکات برجسته دوران خدمت او در FPA می‌توان به راه‌اندازی جایزه «گفتگوی فرهنگ‌ها» و سازماندهی سمپوزیوم «زنان به عنوان عاملان تغییر» اشاره کرد. در دوران ریاست او، FPA همچنین در جوایز گالری مطبوعاتی پارلمان بریتانیا و جوایز مطبوعات بریتانیا مشارکت داشت. جایزه گالری مطبوعاتی پارلمان بریتانیا که همکاری با پارلمان بریتانیا بود، هر ساله به خبرنگاری اهدا می‌شد که به‌عنوان بزرگترین مشارکت بین‌المللی در «حفاظت، ارتقاء و تداوم دموکراسی پارلمانی» شناخته می‌شد.

نازنین عضو چاتم هاوس و موسسه بین‌المللی مطالعات استراتژیک است و مدرک کارشناسی خود را در رشته امور عمومی و دولت از دانشگاه مونت ورنون/دانشگاه جورج واشنگتن و مدرک کارشناسی ارشد در روابط بین‌الملل و سیاست مقایسه‌ای (اتحاد جماهیر شوروی و خاورمیانه) از دانشگاه جرج‌تاون دریافت کرده است.

Nazenin Ansari is the Publisher and Managing Editor of two independent media outlets focusing on Iran.  Kayhan London and Kayhan Life .

Kayhan-London (Persian) and its sister publication Kayhan-Life (English) are London-based media outlets focusing on Iran and its presence on the international scene.  The publication’s history goes back to the early 1940s in Iran.  Its assets were seized and transferred to the office of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic after the 1979 revolution. Its original publisher re-launched the paper in London in the early 1980s. Kayhan-London is considered as the oldest intellectual home for the Iranian diaspora aspiring for secular and democratic Iran.

Nazenin is also the founding Trustee of Persia Educational Foundation , which advances education and learning for Iranians outside Iran. Persia’s bespoke Character and Civic Education training was the first education project of its kind developed to benefit Iranian-British children raised in the UK. 

In June 2023, Persia organized the first-ever festival of short films by Iranian women that explored the diverse dimensions of life in today’s Iran.   In 2022, it launched the Abdolreza Ansari Scholarship, designed to support students studying in the fields of public service and human rights.   In 2017 Persia gathered more than 300 of the most accomplished Iranian women leaders from the world of media, finance, politics, arts, and well-being to the first-ever Iranian Women’s Leadership Conference in London and Iranian American Women’s Foundation. That same year the foundation set up the Mirzakhani Scholarship for Women in 2017 to support the education of women of Iranian descent enrolled in a Master of Science or final year of a Doctorate program studying STEM (Science, Technology, Education and Mathematics.) 

Since 2018, Nazenin has collaborated with the Georgetown Institute for Women in Peace & Security .  The Institute convened & brought leading advocates together to reflect on women’s role in the protest movement in November 2022.  In 2021, GIWPS held a 2 part conference on women in Iran:

Nazenin started her career in journalism during the early 1980s at ABC News Radio in Washington D.C.  and was a contributor to BBC World’s Dateline London.  She was the executive producer and moderator of a news discussion program on Manoto Television called <This Week>. She was also a Special London Correspondent for Voice of America. 


A Trustee of the Foreign Press Association in London , the first and oldest association of foreign journalists in the world, founded in 1888, Nazenin was elected to its governing Committee in 2002.  She served as President, Vice President, and Chairwoman of the FPA Media Awards.

Highlights of her tenure at the FPA included launching the “Dialogue of Cultures” award and organizing the “Women as Agents of Change” symposium.  During her tenure as President, the FPA also participated in the UK Parliamentary Press Gallery Awards and British Press Awards. The UK Parliamentary Press Gallery award, a collaboration with the British Parliament, was presented annually to the journalist who was  considered to have made a most significant contribution internationally to the ‘protection, promotion and perpetuation of parliamentary democracy.’ 

A member of the Chatham House and the International Institute for Strategic Studies, Nazenin received her BA in Public Affairs and Government from Mount Vernon College/George Washington University, and a Master of Arts degree from Georgetown University in International Relations and Comparative Politics (the Soviet Union and the Middle East.)

Kayhan-London (en persan https://kayhan.london/fa/) et sa publication sœur Kayhan-Life (en anglais https://kayhanlife.com) sont des médias basés à Londres qui se concentrent sur l’Iran et sa présence sur la scène internationale. L’histoire de cette publication remonte au début des années 1940 en Iran. Ses actifs ont été saisis et transférés au bureau du Guide suprême de la République islamique après la révolution de 1979. Le fondateur original a relancé le journal à Londres au début des années 1980. Kayhan-London est considéré comme le plus ancien foyer intellectuel pour la diaspora iranienne aspirant à un Iran laïque et démocratique.

Nazenin est également la fondatrice et administratrice de la Persia Educational Foundation https://www.persia.education/, qui promeut l’éducation et l’apprentissage pour les Iraniens vivant hors d’Iran. Le programme de formation en éducation civique et morale de Persia a été le premier projet éducatif de ce type, conçu pour bénéficier aux enfants irano-britanniques élevés au Royaume-Uni.

En juin 2023, Persia a organisé le premier festival de courts-métrages réalisés par des femmes iraniennes, explorant les diverses dimensions de la vie dans l’Iran d’aujourd’hui. En 2022, elle a lancé la bourse Abdolreza Ansari, conçue pour soutenir les étudiants dans les domaines du service public et des droits de l’homme. En 2017, Persia a réuni plus de 300 des femmes leaders iraniennes les plus accomplies des mondes des médias, de la finance, de la politique, des arts et du bien-être lors de la première Conférence sur le leadership des femmes iraniennes à Londres et de la Fondation des femmes irano-américaines. La même année, la fondation a mis en place la bourse Mirzakhani pour les femmes en 2017 afin de soutenir l’éducation des femmes d’origine iranienne inscrites dans un programme de maîtrise en sciences ou en dernière année de doctorat dans les domaines des STEM (Science, Technologie, Éducation et Mathématiques).

Depuis 2018, Nazenin collabore avec le Georgetown Institute for Women in Peace & Security https://giwps.georgetown.edu. L’Institut a réuni des défenseurs de premier plan pour réfléchir au rôle des femmes dans le mouvement de protestation en novembre 2022. En 2021, le GIWPS a organisé une conférence en deux parties sur les femmes en Iran :

Durant son mandat de présidente, la FPA a également participé aux UK Parliamentary Press Gallery Awards et aux British Press Awards. Le prix UK Parliamentary Press Gallery, une collaboration avec le Parlement britannique, était décerné chaque année au journaliste considéré comme ayant apporté la contribution la plus significative au niveau international à la “protection, promotion et perpétuation de la démocratie parlementaire”.
