احسان منوچهری دانش آموختۀ علوم سیاسی و علوم خبری و ارتباطات اجتماعی است. او به مدت بیست سال در دانشگاه پاریس ۸ و انستیتو فناوری‌های پیشرفتۀ خبری و رسانه‌ها در پاریس تدریس کرده و بیش از سه دهه در شبکه‌های مختلف رادیو بین‌المللی فرانسه مدیر و سردبیر بوده است.
Ehsan Manouchehri holds degrees in Political Science, Journalism, and Social Communication. He has taught for twenty years at Paris 8 University and the Institute of Advanced Media and Journalism Technologies in Paris. With over three decades of experience, he has served as an editor and director across various divisions of Radio France Internationale (RFI).

رسانه‌های فارسی زبان برون مرزی و نظام رسانه‌ای جمهوری اسلامی
در این گفتار تلاش براین خواهد بود که دانسته شود چگونه و چرا رسانه‌های فارسی زبان برون مرزی، به رغم همۀ دشواری‌ها و کم و کاست‌ها، جایگاه ویژه‌ای در فضای خبری و نزد شهروندان ایران یافته‌اند. سخن بررسی کارنامه این رسانه‌ها نیست، بلکه درک سازوکار تولید و انتشار فرآورده‌های آنها در گستره‌ایست که حریم خبری رسانه‌های درون مرزی بشمارمی‌آید و از همین رو ناگزیر هماورد و رقیب آنها می‌شود. آیا نظام رسانه‌ای جمهوری اسلامی خود کارپرداز شکوفائی و فیروزمندی رسانه‌های بیرون مرزی نیست؟
Persian-Language Media Outside Iran and the Islamic Republic’s Media System
This discussion aims to explore how and why Persian-language media operating outside Iran, despite all the challenges and limitations, have secured a unique position in the news landscape and among Iranian citizens. The focus is not on evaluating the performance of these media outlets but rather on understanding the mechanisms of their content production and dissemination within a space traditionally dominated by domestic media. This dynamic inevitably positions them as both competitors and challengers to state-controlled outlets. Could it be that the Islamic Republic’s own media system has inadvertently contributed to the growth and success of exiled Persian-language media?
