Homayoun Alizadeh

همایون علیزاده در سال ۱۹۵۲ در زوریخ، سوئیس متولد شد. او در رشته علوم سیاسی (دکترا) و حقوق در دانشگاه وین، اتریش (۱۹۸۱-۱۹۷۵) تحصیل کرد و در سال ۱۹۸۳ از آکادمی دیپلماتیک وزارت امور خارجه اتریش فارغالتحصیل شد. او در سالهای ۱۹۸۷ تا ۱۹۹۵ به عنوان معاون بخش پناهندگانی و مهاجرت در وزارت کشور فدرال اتریش مشغول بکار بود. از سال ۱۹۹۵ تا ۲۰۱۴، علیزلده به عنوان یکی از مقامات ارشد دفتر کمیساریای عالی حقوق بشر سازمان ملل متحد در آفریقا، آسیا و ژنو، سوئیس خدمت کرد. از سال ۲۰۱۶ تا ۲۰۱۸، علیزاده از طرف اداره اروپا برای حمایت از پناهجویان در سیسیل، ایتالیا، برای مقابله با بحران پناهندگانی در دریای مدیترانه مشغول بکار بود. به عنوان یک فعال حقوق بشر، او عضو هیئت مدیره سازمان عفو بینالملل در اتریش و هماهنگ کننده کمپین مقابله با مجازات اعدام بود (۱۹۸۱-۱۹۷۶). وی از سال ۱۹۸۲ تا ۱۹۸۷ رئیس كمیته دفاع اتریش از حقوق بشر در ایران بود و در این مدت به ویژه به پناهجویان ایرانی در یافتن پناهندگی در اروپا، ایالات متحده آمریکا، کانادا و استرالیا کمک نمود. . همایون علیزاده یکی از بنیانگذاران انجمن حمایت از جنبش زنان و جوانان در ایران – پیشگامان مهسا ژینا امینی میباشد (۲۰۲۲).

Homayoun Alizadeh was born in 1952 in Zürich, Switzerland. He studied Political Science (Ph. D) and Law at the University of Vienna, Austria (1975-1981), and graduated from the Diplomatic Academy of the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1983. He served as Deputy Director of Department for Refugees and Migration of the Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior (1987-1995). He was high ranking official of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Africa, Asia and Geneva, Switzerland (1995-2014). He was assigned by the European Asylum Support Office (EASO) dealing with the refugee crisis in the Mediterranean Sea assigned in Sicily, Italy (2016-2018). As a human rights activist, he was a board member of the Austrian Section of Amnesty International and co-ordinator of the campaign against the death penalty (1976-1981). From 1982 to 1987, he was chairperson of the Austrian Committee for the Defence of Human Rights in Iran helping inter alia Iranian refugees to seek asylum in Europe, the USA, Canada and Australia. Homayoun Alizadeh is one of the co-founders of the “Committee to Support the Movement of Women and Youth in Iran – The Mahsa Jina Amini Initiative” (2022).

Homayoun Alizadeh est né en 1952 à Zurich, en Suisse. Il a étudié les sciences politiques (doctorat) et le droit à l’Université de Vienne, en Autriche (1975-1981), et a obtenu son diplôme de l’Académie diplomatique du ministère autrichien des Affaires étrangères en 1983. Il a été directeur adjoint du département des réfugiés et de la migration du ministère fédéral autrichien de l’Intérieur (1987-1995). Il a été haut fonctionnaire du Bureau du Haut-Commissariat des Nations Unies aux droits de l’homme (OHCHR) en Afrique, en Asie et à Genève, en Suisse (1995-2014). Il a été affecté par le Bureau européen de soutien à l’asile (EASO) pour traiter la crise des réfugiés en mer Méditerranée, à Sicile, en Italie (2016-2018). En tant que militant des droits de l’homme, il a été membre du conseil d’administration de la section autrichienne d’Amnesty International et coordinateur de la campagne contre la peine de mort (1976-1981). De 1982 à 1987, il a été président du Comité autrichien pour la défense des droits de l’homme en Iran, aidant notamment les réfugiés iraniens à demander l’asile en Europe, aux États-Unis, au Canada et en Australie. Homayoun Alizadeh est l’un des cofondateurs du „Comité de soutien au mouvement des femmes et des jeunes en Iran – L’initiative Mahsa Jina Amini“ (2022).
